Pakrite is a company that sells Pelican Cases, custom accessories, and fabricates foam inserts. Their old site was outdated and wasn't responsive for mobile devices. We knew that if we built them a new site based in good ecommerce practices and adjusted their digital marketing tactics, their growth potential could be limitless.
After years of owning a successful site, it was time for an upgrade. The old Pakrite site wasn't responsive and was confusing for users to place orders on. Its search functions were rudimentary and didn't index products correctly. Despite offering a vast selection of accessories and foams for Pelican cases, they couldn't be served up on product pages as add-on buys.
Pakrite wasn't just a reseller of Pelican Cases, they created custom foam inserts for the cases as well. These foam inserts offered a level of organization and security that the stock Pick n' Pluck foams couldn't. Pakrite wanted to make sure people knew all of their options when buying a Pelican case, so they needed to be more up front about their offerings,
Part of Pakrite's business model was offering its customers different ways to customize the foam inserts of their Pelican case. Their new site let users configure their Pelican case's color, foam insert style, or even specify custom cutouts in the foam. Using a variety of 3D models, we created a configurator that let users build exactly what they wanted to buy,
Working with Pakrite and a Digital Strategist, we put forth a series of targeted ads spanning the range of consumers to convert browsers to buyers. After two years of putting the right messages in front of the right eyes, the site saw a 200% growth in online sales, becoming a serious competitor to the official Pelican Online store.
We built a brand new ecommerce platform that went above and beyond Pakrite's expectations. Not only could users browse and buy from any device, the ecommerce system directly interfaced with Pakrite's warehouse fulfillment center, letting Pakrite ship out orders fast and efficiently. With a snappy site and quick fulfillment, Pelican cases were flying off the shelves.
